The Gateway mall lit its Christmas tree Saturday with music, fanfare and, of course, Santa.

This year’s 50-foot Colorado blue spruce, adorned with 100,000 LED lights, was donated by Shane and Camie Summerhays.

The evening included a concert featuring new age classical pianist Jon Schmidt and the One Voice Children’s Choir, comprised of 120 children from the Salt Lake area and Utah Valley.
