Brite Nites Inc. (“Brite Nites,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our website, our marketing, and the delivery of our services.
This policy applies to britenites.com, to co-branded pages we operate with partners, and to information we collect when you contact us or become a customer.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide directly
- Contact details: name, email address, telephone number, and company name, submitted through forms or correspondence
- Service address and property details when you request a quote or an installation
- The content of your message or inquiry
B. Information collected automatically
- IP address, device type, browser type, and operating system
- Referring URLs and site usage data, including pages visited, time on site, and interactions
- Information collected through cookies, pixels, and tags used for analytics and advertising
C. Information from third parties
- Aggregated and anonymized campaign data from Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics
- Campaign performance data from marketing partners
D. Information we do not collect
We do not seek or knowingly collect Social Security or government identification numbers, account passwords, full payment card or bank account numbers, biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, health information, protected-class information, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not send us this information.
2. Notice at Collection
The categories below describe what we collect, why we collect it, and who receives it. We keep each category for the periods described in Section 9.
Identifiers
- Examples: name, email address, telephone number, postal and service address, IP address, cookie and device identifiers
- Why we collect it: to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and perform services, provide support and warranty service, and measure advertising
- Who receives it: service providers; advertising and analytics platforms, which receive only the identifiers collected by web tags
Commercial information
- Examples: services requested, quotes, orders, installation history
- Why we collect it: to provide and support the services, for billing, and for our records
- Who receives it: service providers
Internet or network activity
- Examples: pages viewed, interactions, referring URL
- Why we collect it: to improve the site and measure advertising performance
- Who receives it: analytics and advertising platforms
Audio information
- Examples: call recordings or call metadata, where a call is tracked or recorded
- Why we collect it: for customer service, quality, and attribution
- Who receives it: telephony and call-tracking providers
Inferences
- Examples: interest in a service, market or campaign attribution
- Why we collect it: for marketing measurement and relevance
- Who receives it: advertising platforms
3. Use of Analytics Data
A. What Google Analytics 4 collects. Page views, events and interactions, device and browser characteristics, and general geographic region at city level. Where Ads Personalization is enabled, Google may associate visit data with a Google account using Google Signals for cross-device reporting and personalized advertising.
B. IP anonymization. Your IP address is anonymized before storage and processing.
C. How we use analytics data. To improve website functionality and user experience, measure marketing campaign performance, and build anonymized reports and statistics.

4. Advertising and Remarketing
A. Google Ads — Enhanced Conversions and Customer Match. First-party data such as an email address may be hashed and sent to Google to measure conversions. Phone numbers collected for SMS or text messaging are excluded and are not shared with Google, Meta, or any advertising partner. Customer lists may be uploaded to create Custom Audiences. Uploaded data is encrypted, is not shared with other advertisers, and is deleted after matching.
B. Meta Ads — Facebook and Instagram. We use the Meta Pixel and may use hashed customer lists to create Custom or Lookalike Audiences. Meta acts as an independent controller for matching and serving ads. Data is hashed before transfer and deleted after matching.
C. Remarketing. We use cookies and tracking pixels to show relevant ads based on previous interactions with our website.
D. This activity may be a “sale” or “sharing” under state law. Using advertising cookies and pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising, and uploading customer lists to advertising platforms, may be treated as “sharing” or “selling” personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws, even though we receive no money for it. You can opt out — see Section 11B.

5. Co-Branded and Partner Pages
We operate co-branded landing pages with marketing partners. Where we do:
- Brite Nites operates the page and is the business that collects the information submitted on it
- The partner receives reporting about the partnership, and may receive information about how campaigns perform
- Advertising and measurement technologies used on those pages are agreed with the partner in advance
- Each co-branded page carries its own privacy notice describing what that page collects, who receives it, and how long it is kept
The rights and choices in this policy apply to information collected on those pages.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
How you opt in. By submitting our website contact form with your phone number, providing your phone number verbally during a call or in-person meeting, or by sending us a text message first.
Message types. Appointment confirmations, service updates, project coordination, and responses to customer inquiries.
Frequency. Typically 1 to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop future texts, or HELP for support. You may also contact info@britenites.com or 888-615-7996.
No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.

7. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / POPIA)
Where the GDPR or POPIA applies, we rely on:
- Consent, such as cookie acceptance or signing up for communications
- Legitimate interest, such as improving our services and marketing
- Legal obligation, such as complying with applicable law
8. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share personal information with:
- Google LLC, for Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Enhanced Conversions
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, for the Meta Pixel and advertising
- Service providers that operate our systems on our behalf, including website and application hosting, call tracking, address lookup, CRM, and data warehouse and reporting tools
- Marketing partners, where you have engaged with a co-branded page or campaign, as described in Section 5
Shared data is pseudonymized or encrypted where practicable and is subject to contractual controls requiring it to be used only to provide services to us.
Phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are never shared, sold, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising activity may still be a “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined by state law — see Section 4 and Section 11.
9. Data Retention
- Google Analytics 4 data: 14 months, or as configured
- Advertising platform data and audience membership: up to 13 months in Google, and up to 180 days in Meta, which is Meta’s maximum for website audiences
- Customer Match lists: 30 to 180 days depending on campaign type
- Form submissions and inquiries: as long as reasonably necessary to respond, to provide and support the services, and to meet legal, tax, warranty and record-keeping obligations
- Call records: as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, quality and attribution
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies, for basic site functionality
- Analytics cookies, for measuring website usage
- Advertising cookies, for remarketing and personalization
You can manage cookies through your browser or through the cookie banner on our site. Advertising cookies are also covered by the opt-out in Section 11B.
11. Your Privacy Rights
A. Everyone. Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your personal information
- Stop sending you marketing
- Remove you from advertising audiences
B. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You may opt out of the use of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are two ways:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request and honor it automatically. On our co-branded partner pages, a GPC signal prevents advertising and measurement tags from loading at all.
- Tell us directly. Email privacy@britenites.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and we will process the request.
C. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, the sources it comes from, the purposes we use it for, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to
- Access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to limit
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right
D. Other states
If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising and sale. Where your state provides a right to appeal a decision we make about your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing privacy@britenites.com with “Appeal” in the subject line.

Tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity, and we will only ask for information necessary to do that. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need up to another 45 days.
F. Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof that you authorized them, and may ask you to verify your own identity directly.
12. Data Security
We use encryption, firewalls, access controls, and secure servers to protect your data. Data uploaded to advertising platforms is hashed using SHA-256 before transmission.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@britenites.com and we will delete it.
14. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, by us or by our service providers. Where required, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
15. Policy Updates
We update this policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the current version. If we make a material change to how we use personal information we already collected, we will notify you before that change applies to it. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
